Valero couldn't fight here because of any injury that had US doctors concerned or something; not because his corner loaded his gloves which eventually led to a revokation of license. Two completely different situations.

Margacheato should respect the decision and take the ban like a man, come on the guy tried to cheat in a fight, where is the honor???

steroid players in the US are active today, the US dont give a ****, hell, mayorga ,toney, vargas all fought without any real punishment. Mosley is the only fighter in the history of steroids to not get punished after cheating, he hasnt had a 1 year suspension either, if mosley can cheat and still be actively fighting without punishment, anyone can, everyone thats not named Mosley will be banned for a short time from US fights but theyll be fighting in the US soon,

i actually in a way hope Marg dont ever fight in the US anymore, im positively sure hed become a icon in Mexico if he fights in Mexico City the rest of his life,

giant stadium(100000+ seats), milllions and millions of raving boxing fans in a city like Mexico City that worships boxing, Margarito fighting in Mexico would definitely make Margs a a icon in Mexico

Don't think so. If California does not reinstate his license next year then Texas will not either. Their own rules state that not complying with an order issued by the commission is grounds for revocation. They won't license him, neither will any other state should he fight in Mexico.

I hope Margarito fights in Mexico and basically thumbs his nose to the American Commission...I hope he does.

Barrera, Chavez, Morales, Marquez,.....all icons because they fought the best and beat the best or at least put on great performances. Margarito will never fit into that category since his last stand at fighting an elite went so miserably and he won't get big bouts in Mexico against recognized fighters. Margarito's run will be cut short of iconic should he remain fighting in Mexico. He'll just be an attraction like Chavez Jr. is now, that keeps people coming until he eventually falls and is then forgotten because many more Mexican greats are sure to come and actually be fighting top competition and put on memorable performances.

If Margocheato fights in Mexico, he should never be allowed to fight on US soil again! Bob arum is another piece of ****! To state that margo is innocent is beyond insulting!!!! For Mexico to state that Margo is innocent is beyond disgusting, that says a lot of Mexico doesn't it!!??? But what else can one expect from a country run by drug dealers and a country which is beyond corrupt! Viva Mexico indeed!![/QUOTE]
