The reason Floyd vs Shane wont be as popular as Floyd Vs Hatton is because Floyd isn't gonna fight Hatton!!!!!

Hatton is a huge PPV draw and Shane is not so obviously it will be no where near as successful. Simple economics!! If you really think the majority of the PPV audience for Floyd VS Hatton was PBF fans then you sir have gone ******ed.

And why would people wanna "escape" their problems watching 2 fighters they really don't care about. **** i have the money and i still wouldn't pay that much for this fight simply because neither fighter is very intresting in my opinion. **** if this fight does happen I'm almost certin I would just watch it for free on the Internet and I'm a diehard boxing fan mind you!

Point Blank Hatton was not a huge PPV draw in the US. In England sure, not in America which is what I am talking about, I am sure some UK ex-pats bought the fight, but I think they can easily get in the same ballpark. Mosley-Mayweather is a fight all boxing fans have wanted to see for years and years

Mosley is a nice humble guy, Floyd is a money hungry jerk. It is easy to get the public to buy into Hero vs. Villian type fights, which are an escape.

Yet you are in a thread discussing, why Floyd is not in his right as a man to demand whatever he sees fit for his services (now mind you no one has to agree he is worth that, but he is not wrong for trying to get the most possible money), how can you know if you do not try.

The status of this thread had nothing to do with him being a draw or popular. Its about this being a highly debatable topic between realistic boxing fans, and delusional fanboys who only care about Floyd's well being and financial status.

Not to discredit the Floyd/Oscar ppv"s, but back in the 90's and early 2000's when Oscar was the hottest draw in boxing, i can recall almost EVERYONE having hot boxes (illegal cable boxes), and rarely anyone paid for the ppv fights. Im sure that had a big effect on ppv sales. Nowaday's with the new cable technology, there is really no way round not paying for the fight unless u find a ****ty stream.
