I like Pavlik, but hes extremely one-dimensional. I think Abraham would beat him, not easily but quite comfortably.

And most of the elite fighters near his weight class would beat him as well. Kessler, Bute, Hopkins (obviously), Dawson, Glen Johnson.

I think this was a more experimental fight, like Pavlik said, he was looking to box more and mix it up, but he was definitly so tempted to throw the one-two at Rubio because everytime he threw it, Rubio would get phased by it, even if it only hit his gloves. I do agree, Jack needs to go though, or atleast bring another trainer in if he doesn't want to go. Pavlik needs to work on his hooks to, can't deny those things are alittle Calzaghe-like sometimes. But through it all, I'm still a fan, and just because I'm a fan, doesn't mean I think he's unbeatable.

NOBODY yea hes got pop and destroyed miranda but thats after Pavlik beat the piss out of him..he wasnt the same fighter........Miranda broke his jaw, Pavlik will break his face..Kelly looked good last night, yea it lasted longer than expected but he hit him at will and broke him down physically and mentally....Im an Abraham fan but im just saying he doesnt have what it takes to beat Pavlik, he doesnt punch enough and Pavlik will walk him down all nite and break through that turtle def he has...I really hopes this fight happens tho...Abe is Pavliks only threat at MW possibly PWill also,those two fights are what this division needs

What a present a Pavlik/Johnson fight would be.....it on paper would be great for fans and either man would gain alot from a win over the other.
