    Its really a shame that Clottey can't get any of the top 5 welters to fight him. I think he would beat Berto, Mosley and Margarito in a rematch but the Cotto fight is a toss up, it really depends on how much he has left after Margarito but i think he'll be a star again especially since he now knows that there was a chance of him being cheated with those wraps.

      Good to see Clottey enter the unification spirit and aiming at Shane. With Berto interested in Cotto, we have all four champions in the mix. What are the promoters waiting for? The world wants this tournament, give it to them!

        I think Clottey is right and we need the other boxers to pay attention, because everybody claims that they are the best but they dont wnat to fight the best out there I think they should do a tournament and they have the top four right now to do it Cotto, Berto, Mosley and Clottey and if they dont do nothing UFC is going to keep winning more fans because they always put the best with the best.

          **** put Clottey in there with Berto/Collazo/Cintron.

          Any of those fights are good. Berto he gets a belt. The other guys are good fights that should keep em busy. And I think he'd run over Cintron.

          Clottey needs to fight soon tho.

            This is why in the near future,government needs to intervene.Its a shame that a sport as old and successful as boxing is so corrupt and unpredictable.Truthfully,why is it so many champions to a weight class?What sense does it make?There should be one champion and it should be mandatory that he fights three times a year.Twice against the top two contenders the third against a journeyman.When he no longer can defend his title or he does not agree with the purse, he must forfeit the title and drop to the bottom of the contender list.There should be a set purse for journeyman,a set purse for contenders and the winner gets 60% the loser 40%. If the fighter becomes champion, he automatically gets 70% of the purse.That's the advantage of being the champ.I think this would force the top fighters to fight each other.The fans would also see better fights.Clottey deserves to fight one of these top guys. It makes me lose respect for them.

              clottey cant get a fight with the top 5. but he should atleast be fighting someone. i dont think he would beat cotto with that long laid off until june 13. he should fight quintana. or someone in the top 10.

                  I agree with the tournament idea but in regards to UFC I don't know. Sure it is very exciting to watch at times but once they get to that MEGA mainstream level watch how the politics come into play. Like anything that starts off in the beginning.

                  The integrity, hunger and ambition is there but when UFC start getting them Big $'s then watch how it goes. As of right now it is untainted because it is on the come up. I watch it from time to time and think it's good when they stand up and fight but on the floor I can do without.
