Sometimes sporting events, including boxing, can have rigged outcomes - its happened in the past, and it will happen in the future. This fight could POSSIBLY have been fixed from watching how the fight played out. It was just wierd to me thats all.. ohh well forget about it Pac fans, come may 2nd you will all be saying the same thing about how Pac threw the fight against Hatton when he gets KO'd ....that was a joke by the way

      Yup, def true and Osca had no response really.

      It was actually almost like Hopkins, he had a perfect un expected style and game plan to avoid being tagged with movement, which stunned the over dog and made them look silly.

      I put both performances down to terrific trainers, tactics, and two great fighters.

        Jching you're obviously not a boxer...If you were you'd have a better idea of how batter Oscar was mentally and physically after about 5 rounds.

        Oscar couldnt even think properly in the 7th lets put it that way.

            The losing fighter and his fans had an obvious mentality of just beating a name and p4p guy - then walking away, but instead got humiliated.

              Oscar was absolutely dead at the weight. I said it straight after the fight and I stand by it.

              People who don't think that simply haven't seen enough Oscar de la Hoya.

                when you're 35/36 years old, fighting part time, haven't made 147 since 2001, then fight a prime p4p #1 fighter that is a southpaw, is fast, and has a ton of stamina, i think it would be a nightmare (for oscar).

                i agree, i wish delahoya had thrown more punches, but he was probably very tired and drained.

                  A Multi Millionaire throwing the fight for what?? To make Pacquiao Big? So what DLH's going to get to get a Beat down like that? More money for him?? No way!! More money for Pac but Arum's the one making extra moneyn not DLH after that fight.

                  So that Bruise in his face & the swelling are all fake??? Put yourself in DLH's place. You're almost a Billionaire, will you let anybody ruined your face just to get extra cash?

                      like i said there could be other reasons for throwing the fight but thats not the point i was really trying to make - DLH looked like he wasnt even trying the entire fight and then just gave up on his stool. It just seemed wierd to me thats all, almost intentional, and if people cant see this from watching the fight then I guess it must just be me then lol.. but one thing I know for sure is that Pacquiao does not deserve credit for the victory, as he might as well have fought a bum off the street, so dont go talking about tactics, game plans and all that because they didnt count for s**t in that fight.
