          Dawson said he'd fight Kessler at 175.

          Kessler said he'd fight Dawson at catchweight or 168.

          Dawson said "Im a Light Heavyweight. I dont do catchweight or 168".

          Months later, Dawson says:

          "168 may be my best weight. I wanna fight..............Paul Williams"

              I don't know how to measure that, but check NSB in the lead-up to the Calzaghe-Lacy fight. Lacy was hyped pretty good.

                Dude, trust me. Lacy was nowhere near as hyped as Vargas. Only difference is that Vargas earned some of the hype.

                Let's see...

                One fighter was on HBO, the other on Showtime

                One was ranked top ten pound for pound, the other wasn't

                One drew big crowds, the other was a hometown fighter

                I don't think Boxingscene existed around 2000 but if it did, Vargas woulda peed all over Lacy's hype.
