I'm not familiar with the US system here. How come this means that he's guilty? And can this lead to him being prosecuted for assault i.e. is there a chance/risk that he'll go to jail?

Is that the exact quote from the AG or maybe he said something like "if he is found to be guilty...then he should get the harshet punishment." D.A's are always saying shyt like that.

What kind of reaction were you looking for? LOL...the Attorney General is looking to lay the hammer down on a fighter who was about to cheat and possibly permanently hurt the other fighter. That's not a good look for the state or Margarito. You should be glad he may live to fight another day if a Year suspension is all he gets.

I think this definitely suggests he's guilty because if they are saying they want the most extreme punishment, in my eyes that means he's guilty because they either found an illegal substance or they didn't. They wouldn't ask to punish him to the fullest unless they found something.

It's not lookin good for Margs.

He is not going to jail by any means. he didnt used the Illegal thing in the Mosley fight,.

The only way he goes to jail is if he is proved of use it in other fights!!!!!!!

Obviously I'm not 100% sure, but I'm just using logic. When the state attorney comes out and his opening statement is that Margarito should receive the harshest penalty possible, to me that says that they've done the tests and have come to a conclusion on what the foreign objects are.

Couple that with the fact that this was scheduled on the official CSAC website as a "Disciplinary Hearing" and it seems to me like that's exactly what it is. They have the verdict, this hearing is to decide punishment.

Now, I of course could be wrong, but this is what conventional wisdom would tell me.
