Zab Judah vs. Carlos Quintana is Being Discussed

krikya360.com has learned that a potential fight between former welterweight champions Zab Judah (37-6, 25KOs) and Carlos Quintana (26-2, 20KOs) is being discussed. The idea behind Judah-Quintana is to have the winner fight WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto (24-0, 19KOs) at a later date. HBO is interested in the proposed scenario. The network would probably place Judah-Quintana on a future "Boxing After Dark" telecast, and air Berto's fight against the Judah/Quintana winner on their "World Championship Boxing" series. Should be a good fight, I will go with Quintana on this. Plus it will be a good step up for Berto...

I thought Zab was gonna try and run the Jr WW division...Anyway, Quintana U.D or possible K.O. Honestly, I have no damn interest in this figt. Quintana vs Clottey is a MUCH better option, considering Clottey hasn't faught in a while

great match-up, on paper at least. If Zab can't hurt Carlos in the first 5-6 rounds, Quintana can outbox him to a UD, though Carlos has proven before that he indeed can be touched in the first round (Julio, Williams).
