Cintron, Collins Sr. Speak on The Margarito Controversy

first of all, margarito = tito trinidad, if one
is guilty, then they're both guilty, and if one
is innocent then they're both innocent, and
it's just brother ****m being an azzhole.

but most of all...
i have to agree with the guy who said....

so that everyone can see how it's done.

this will be educational, and increase safety.
you would think that with all that money,

Some of you said that you'd rather trust Collins Sr.'s word than a picture taken a day after Collins Jr's last fight, well you can actually watch Collins Jr's entire last fight. Collins Sr. was wrong, if Margarito had been using plaster for his fight against Cotto then Cotto wouldn't be alive right now, the punches Margarito was throwing would have killed Cotto right there if his gloves had been plastered. It was obvious that Luis Resto's gloves were plastered, he disfigured Collins Jr's face with punches that could not have caused that kind of damage.

He may not be great yet, but he has the potential to be. He beat the great Mosley...convincingly.

He beat Mosely by two rounds, that is pretty convincing to me... Mosley getting the nod in that fight would have been a robbery.

GRUSTLER: Before I get started I just want to say, good post. You seem to be level headed and unbiased in most of the replies I read from you. Once again, good post.

Now, the one thing I have not seen in any of these replies(maybe once), is that fact that Cotto got hit in the Margo fight more than any other fight. Most of the fights that folks brought up(torres and such) he was hit, and buzzed, but those were more wake up calls, and not damaging punches. Yes he was hurt in those fights, but he didn't take a beating.

Last, the thing that I can't belive no one has brought up, is the fact that Margo's best, BEST punch is the uppercut...Cotto leaned into those all night long. I'm sorry, but if you do that, your face will show it.

I don't know if the gloves were loaded or not, but there is alot more to why Cotto looked that way he did, besides loaded gloves.
