This is nothing more than a CYA move by NSAC. With Margarito getting caught so red-handed (or plaster handed, if you prefer), NSAC knows they are now exposed for possibly missing the same thing. If NSAC were to admit to anything, they could be exposed to lawsuits or possible other legal sanction. This is nothing more than an attempt to sweep things under the rug without a full investigation so that they can cover their asses from possible charges of negligence.

It may not be provable that Margarito cheated against Cotto like he attempted to against Mosley, but it's far to early to say that he didn't.

Personally, I think this should be a criminal offense and that it's time to get Margarito and his various trainers in interrogations rooms, separately, and get them to talking. Let's see what kind of beans spill then.

Like for instance, though I thought it was BS when I heard it, they were throwing accusations at Margo for steroid use in the Cotto fight (which again I thought was a ridiculous claim), but it was thrown out as quick as the rumor started and it barely made any headlines.

The issue with the wraps is the talk of the Boxing world right now and the media is eating it up, and you should know what the media can turn a story like this into.

So realistically, even if he's acquitted of any wrong doing, many writers, skeptics, fans, etc will still be questioning Margarito and his camp. I mean...OJ got away with murder didn't he? LOL

well i dont know what type of brain you alt creating ******s are working with but its a pretty simple concept to wrap your peanut around. they can't go back in time with ****m richardson and have him watch marg's hands get wrapped in the dressing room before the cotto fight. and because at the time of the hand wrapping all of the procedures were followed and the hand wraps were legal--they can only assume that everything went down fairly.

if you were marg's trainer and you wanted to pack his handwraps you would obviously, as a man being around the sport a couple of decades, know by now what to do to fly under the radar. you would know exactly what the inspectors look for and how to hide it. we can't blame them for not catching anything su****ious.

Yeah, well Shane did steroids and no body is beating him up over it. If the test come back 'not plaster"..then i couldnt care less what some trolls online will say...
