I don't think we should get too excited. Floyd says he's happily retired and that contrary to the rumours, he's still got over $300 million in the bank and has no need to come back for the money. But on the other hand, towards the end of his career, he was only interested in taking big money fights (for ego reasons, I suspect), and Mosley, while a great fighter, has never been a big commercial draw - he has very little crossover appeal, for some reason. So it wouldn't be a mega-money fight. The talks between Mosley's and Mayweather's camps have failed twice in the past, and I don't see why they are any more likely to succeed this time, especially as it would take something really special to lure Floyd out of retirement.

Unless Hatton beats Pac convincingly, Mayweather would lose all credibility if he came back to fight Hatton again.
