The problem with a lot of people in regards to Floyd Mayweather Jr is just plain personal. I can care less what he does with or in his personal life but what he has done in the ring is next to flawless & if people can see his talent, greatness & what he achieved instead of wanting to see him lose which will most likely NEVER happen then the HATE can subside. I used to think PBF was hype for a minute but when I saw how he dissected Gatti (Don't care if Gatti was Shot) the way he picked that dude apart was a sight that made me become a believer. Cotto/Margarito actually got beat down just like Gatti if not worst & them dudes were supposed to be the next coming? Give me a break.

Look Mosley is a good fighter, a HOFer but he got outboxed by Cotto last year. Mosley did to Margarito what Cotto should have. So if Cotto can outbox Mosley, Mayorga makes Mosley look bad....and yall think the greatest fighter of this generation is scared becuase shane looked good agianst a skill-less overhyped slugger. lol...YALL WILL NEVER LEARN!!!!
I agree with you my dude. These cats are band wagon fans. They jump on the next hype or big thing. First Cotto was the freight train PBF was avoiding, then he gets dismantled & QUITS! All of sudden Margarito is the man PBF is scared of! Then he gets ANNIHILATED. Now it's PBF scared of Mosley a guy when asked will he fight PBF after the 2nd Vargas fight said "I got a tooth Ache" But haters don't know FACTS all they know is HATE. I like the fact that PBF went out on top because after watching the people that were supposed to be his toughest challenges I have to say it would be a waste of time to beat up on them.

You haters always go on about what he hasnt done , and its because you have an unlimited supply of what ifs in that basket , as each new hero goes down you find another that will beat Floyd , its getting tiring .
          I don't agree with that...

If you look at all the great fighters in the past 25 years, you can pick 2 or 3 fights that put that fighter in Legendary status.

Some fighters that come to mind are:

Roy Jones winning the Heavyweight title from starting at Middleweight (which hadn't been done since the early 1900s)

Bernard Hopkins beating Felix Trinidad to become the undisputed Middleweight champ and putting him on the map, and then just this past October beating the Undefeated Middleweight Champ of the Wolrd who everyone thought was going to kill Hopkins

Sugar Ray Leonard's comeback after a long hiatus to beat Marvin Hagler for the Middleweight title, as well as his comeback win over Duran which branded the catchphrase "No Mas"

These are just a few examples, and I'm not hating on Floyd at all. I just think he and most of his fans hype him up a bit more than he should considering he retired while the division he was in was stacked with more than worthy opposition. Granted, Money and Boxing go hand in hand...but not every fight is going to make $30-35 Million, so when money becomes the sole reason why he won't fight a Cotto, Mosley, Margarito, etc...it kinda tarnishes what he's already accomplished because let's face it...the guy isn't 47 years old. He's in prime condition, but chooses not to fight the best available.

And if PBF didn't fight them he's not? His achievements in the sport of boxing as a whole should be his claim to legendary status not by one division when he moved through 5 division & stayed UNDEFEATED champ for 10 years. I'm tired of people down playing this guy who is clearly technically & intelligently
better then these tomato cans but can't get no respect because he didn't fight them? Cotto has always been overrated & Margarito is now exposed as a cheater. PBF is on another level from these frauds.

I'm sure he'll come back to fight Hatton again instead since there's no real threat there, and sadly it will probably make him more money.
The same thing people said about these two threats

Now please dont tell me, Paul williams (Who got beat by carlos quintana) was a better fighter than the middleweight de la hoya mayweather faced, and as for margarito, do we even need to go there?
Nah, I think you set the record str8t! Below is my seal of approval
