the fans r not ******,everyone now knows why marg so suddenly in his last 4-5 fights had so much pop on his p-power,& why he had no power against shane.he should be banned from boxing for intentionally trying to cut short some boxers careers short.theirs no excuse for trying such a shameless act in this sport which had taken so many black eyes in the past & finally seemed like it had recover only to have another cheater take its shine away again.shame on u tony & to all the ur fans who still back u up;u get no glory from us the real hardcore fans.u discusst us......now we know why a bum like daniel santos beat his ass at jr. middleweight,which if we analize should be his normal weight ;cause hes an average slow,sloppy fighter who became an overnight wonder by fighting smaller fighters with plaster in hes hands,what a f...ing joke.heads up with no plaster cotto's gonna **** u up just like he was doing the first half the fight.....

You have to admit that the illegal handwrap thing makes Cotto's "failure" a questionable one. I mean, knowing what we know now, Cotto fading after getting hit with bricks for 6 rounds doesn't come as much of a surprise, does it?

it should be shane mosley vs andre berto for the real ww title. cotto is fighting for a paper belt. he could have fought pwill for it whos this jennings guy? marg is not the best ww as i said. mosley vs berto for all the marbles is what i say. for back to back weeks they put together some unforgettable performances!

I highly doubt that cotto will fight margarito in june. Floks dont evan mention berto in the same paragraph as; marg, mosley, cotto. That paper champ cannot handle any of them. Just because margarito lost last night does not mean he is done. Tony is one tough cookie!

we'll have to see about that. the cotto fight may have crtacked tony's chin and scrambled his brains for good. dont be surpised that after the cotto and mosley fights, margarito is done for good especailly at 147. marg might as well move up in weight and try to win a title there. thats of course after a cotto rematch if cotto decides to go that route.

I belive Cotto will get the rematch but not now. There's a very interesting situation going on right now that we the fans can probably benefit. If Cotto gets pass Jennings he should go to Cotto Mosley II (June). The winner of that fight can fight by the end of the year the winner of the Pacquiao-Hatton (May) fight. In the meantime Margarito can be fighting a easy fight in summer and then go after a guy like Berto or even Paul Williams (November December), and if he wins those fights, he gains a liitle prestige back and then can fight whoever comes out of Cotto-Mosley-Pacquiao-Hatton tournament, beginning next year (February -March 2010). All those potential fights, in that sequence, can generate a lot of intere$t, PPV revenue, sell out crouds and more important great action packed fights, that eventually will help rise boxing to a higher level during this year and keep us, boxing fans happy.

Just in case you ask, I beleive that Cotto can be the last man standing out of this mess that I just mentioned because he has the skills to beat Margarito in a rematch, won already against Mosley and I don't think Pacquiao can beat fighters like Mosley or Cotto who punch harder and are much more faster than De La Hoya at this stage of De La Hoya's career.

This is mini tournament is another proof that boxing DOESN'T NEED PRETTY BOY BACK!!!!

margarito is done for good. he aint beating nybody any more. he lost his chin and he lost his power(illegally wrapped hands). its over. the guy is done. oh and hi margarito fans. how you guys holding up? gonna jump on the urbano antillion express now I bet.

A rematch is still needed in my opinion... with marg that is. That will release the demons out of cottos head despite the wrap situation. I dont think cotto would care much though...

I love how this is turning into a tito thing.
Even roy jones has said what tito wore was alot of gauze, to protect the hands.
Which is why tito never had any injuries to his hands.
Unlike calzaghe and floyd, who probably didn't wear enough.
Even the state official told hopkins camp that hopkins hands could be wrapped like tito's.
Margarita got caught with pads.
