Cotto should still be given the chance especially after Margaritos hand wrap issue, this is Cottos only lose. A win over Margarito would put Cotto back up there. I still would like to see Cotto vs. Margarito 2.

If were Cotto I would be saying forget Jennings, I want Margarito now. I would be upset with the Tony scandal and would question if he was illegally wrapped in their fight, that we will never know. After watching this fight, Cotto can take a number of pointers before their rematch. I also think Cotto should hook up with an elite trainer rather then his uncle. Cotto has the boxing skill and can learn alot from one of the elite trainers.

More tape on can change things entirely. How many hands have you seen wrapped? He didn't say he put more gauze on, he had to replace the tape with gauze which takes more power away. When every other fighter has to gauze to pad their hand and you get tape there is a noticeable power difference. If you wrap it illegally it could change the "hardness" of the wrap giving you more power or a punch feeling stronger. Kind of like the difference between getting hit by a hard baseball or soft baseball(padded acts kind of like a suspension system). Tito was a cheater plain and simple. A selfish individual ruining other fighters while cheating. That shows no respect for other fighters.

Plaster? Ban Margarito For Life

Of course Cotto should get a rematch. "IF" Margarito was using plaster he should never fight again, Cotto's loss should be wiped, and Margarito should be shamed from the fight game. Cheating to hit home runs is one thing and cheating by making your hands into bricks is another. I hate the fact that there are so many belts and sanctioning bodies b/c if true that is unacceptable and Margarito should NEVER set foot in the ring again. God I hope it isn't true because the thought of it makes me sick. Plaster is about more than loss/win.
