Something that sucks is that his invincibility in my eyes was just shattered. The most feared man on the planet is no more
It was very depressing and its hard to describe in words how i felt watching that...

Anyways cong**** to Mosley and the fans. I have nothing bad to say about his performance. I just didnt like the holding

well you were way of the mark weren't you

Same here. I mean, most puertorricans over here (and the friends me and my bro invited) were ecstatic watching Margarito get dismantled...and to a VERY (and i emphasize very) slight degree I wanted Margarito to work hard for this fight. It made sense for him to win, he was younger, seemingly stronger, could take a hell of a punch and he would be around longer in the sport. At the same time, I didn't want Shane to get knocked out.

So, understandbly, in the midst of all this screaming and shouting among friends crowded in the living room...I think me and my bro were the only ones sympathizing with Margarito as the fight was about to be stopped.

Everyone over here shouted and hollered, and I did as well...it was a fight. But damn, kind of a let-down since Margarito never seemed to be in the fight. Mayorga...MAYORGA put up a better fight......just....wow. I literally said that like 4 or 5 times...couldn't believe it.

To think that Margarito was the cause of so much suffering I endured on July 26th, 2008...and then subject me to further suffering as I watched him take those swift, precise, hard haymakers...God-damn, the force and precision that Shane threw those punches with...nearly decapitated Margarito.

          Texan...I'm puertorrican...but I feel ya'.

I loved every minute of it. Now you know how I feel standing in the MGM alone in sadness after Miguel lost. I was stunned and couldn't move.

Funny how you'd say the most invincible guy when he had like 5 losses. Sure he had an iron chin, but he was far from unbeatable. He had just lost to Paul Williams not to long ago and only looked so unbeatable against Cotto yet still was outboxed for half of the fight. I said as soon as he beat Cotto that he probably wouldn't last long and have 15 minutes of fame from the Cotto bout. I'm glad to have been proven correct.

i've got to say i was shattered as well, was really in quite disbelief. however margs will definately be back. i think he probably thought he was invicilbe, the commentators said it themselves, he probably thinks he has an invicible chin. Mosley was the same as bhop in that technique onl gets better and love the comparison to bhop and roy jones ibn that technique is what keeps these fighters getting better as they get older, not athletic ability.
Margs will ko cotto again and then probably rematch mosley. my prediction for 09

it happend to zab judah, pavlik, cotto, and now margarito........ it would never happen to mayweather tho...
Cotto isn't one dimensional, he just had a stamina issue.

Also, if Mayweather fights enough tough challenges, it will happen to him, too.

For the record, nothing wrong with holding. It's a strategy. Not directing this at the guy quoted, just felt like saying it.

Anyone see Marg's face before the round he got knocked down? He looked like somthin was really wrong with his head, like his eyes were all ****ed up. I think that Cotto fight took a toll on him in a major way, I thought for sure he was gonna end up gettin carried out of the ring.
