CastorTroy i actually agree with you. I had said that Berto Finished strong and on my card was draw. I thought either fighter winning the fight would not of been a horrible decision and think they made need to Do it again To get a Clear winner

I definitely want to see a rematch. I had Collazo winning by about 2 or 3 points, there should have been a clause in the contract but on the other hand, that's good for Berto because he has time to rest, fix some of his mistakes and get some decent wins under his notch before he goes back into this hard of a fight again.

it takes a lot more than good management to even win an alphabet belt. hell, to win a regional title you have be pretty damn good.

and why, after both berto and collazo gave us a fight that will be in contention for fight of the year, would you say they both suck (which they don't)? serious question.

It was a close fight but I think Collazo pulled it off. He definitey deserves a rematch.

Collazo is attempting to compensate for being so complacent following the victory. I think it's smart to be a bit more brash regarding the subject. If he beats the drum then fans will remember it as a bad decision. If he keeps his mouth shut fans will think it was fair. He should have taken a stronger stance against the decision from the beginning(while remaining respectful.)

I'm sorry but did anyone actually count those pitter-patter flurries that didn't do much to berto like those 20 punches to bertos body that looked like they had 0 power on them. People crack jokes on Calzaghe, but atleast calzaghes weakest slaps have his opponent backing up, those pitter-patter shots from Collazo didn't even have berto backing up.
I have heard the expression touch him with the gloves and that is what it looked like at times Collazo was doing. I think he outworked Berto in some cases but the harder more meaningful punches were thrown and landed by Berto. I have said it before Berto is the Champ and you really have to outwork the Champ to take his title. Collazo did enough in my mind to make it a good showing and a close fight but Berto won the fight and dug down deep when it counted in the 11th adn 12th rounds.....Lefty

I thought Berto won the fight not only did he win more rounds he scored with the more effective punches throughout. Collazo was throwing a lot of arm punches.

It was definitely a good fight, but I had it even going into the last 12th, and Berto CLEARLY won the 12th, thus he rightfully won the fight. I think the 116-111 was absolutely ridiculous, but I still feel Berto deserved the win.
