... In other news, Zab Judah's estate purchase in Monaco has proved to be a brilliant success, as the lack of taxes allow him to reap the benefits of an appreciating mortgage in a real estate hot-spot.
I was in monaco in the summer..blew 1g in the monte carlo
If Mayweather doesn't learn how to properly handle his finances, he'll follow the path of a lot of former champs/all-time greats. If he really wants to stay retired, he should look at guys who properly invested their money like Lenox Lewis, rather than making it rain or else he'll end up with problems like Tyson and Holyfield. I mean really, $30,000 just thrown out in a crowd like that. That's more than a lot of people make in a year.
First of all, in regards to the 7.1 million worth of ***ellery being stolen, I would assume Mayweather has homeowner insurance.
Second of all, with the economy in the dire straights that it is in right now, you'd be hard pressed not to find anyone that hasn't lost money on investments.
6.1 million owed in back taxes does suck, but Mayweather has made over 57 million in the last 18 months alone. His networth is roughly 100 million dollars, I think he's going to be okay.

He needs to be careful though, because this is how it starts.
SRR, Joe Louis, Liston, and countless other fighters who ended up owning pretty much nothing. It happens.
Its cool and good to spend as much money as your rich [you only live once]
but you got to think about your future too.. your kids future. from what im seeing/reading, in a few years unless he invests in something big, he's going to end up like what former rich athletes do, spend spend spend and wake up one day to see theres nothing anymore.
I'd have no sympathy for the guy if he somehow blew all the dough he's got. If he has to come back and fight just for $ reasons, he could be in trouble against a hungry opponent.
