Floyd is the premier pound-for-pound boxer of this era and without question the most talented.

Too say he doesnt have any memorable fights is insane. And after that post proves you are a new boxing fan.

Mayweather vs. Chavez WAR!! wasnt Memorable?
Mayweather vs. Castillo I wasnt Memorable?
    Mayweather vs. Gatti wasnt Memorable?
    Mayweather vs. Hatton wasnt Memorable?
    Mayweather vs. Corralles wasnt Memorable?

1 GUY who had 1 million point named PBDS...spent 300,000 points to turn my rep red....

Mayweather will be beaten in his career. Mark, my words.

(I realize that's only a bold statement to his nuthuggers, but it's true.)

And what is your definition of a memorable fight to boxing?

Because in 2007 He sold the most P.P.V in boxing history in 1 year....
back to back fights MEGA EVENTS. P.P.V fights can no longer be talk about without Mentioning Mayweather when it comes to the history of it.

And what is your definition of a memorable fight to boxing?

Because Mayweather vs. Hatton was 2 undefeated Prime P4P fighters fighting each other which was the Highest P.P.V in the United States not involving Oscar De La Hoya or a heavyweight...

I would so that was pretty Memorable wouldnt you?

With Floyd, he has never had a legitimate KD - the Judah fight was the closest. And that was more of a balance thing. You have never seen him hurt. Buzzed for five seconds vs. Corley and Judah.

It's pretty amazing, actually. You have seen so many of his fights, and you can barely remember the good punches that landed. That's crazy.
Floyd is much ore of a defensive fighter tha Witaker IMO.
Meaning as he has moved up in weight he has chosen not to engage as much as he used to. Its safety first with Floyd.

Whitaker was more a showmn in the ring, that got him KD against Tito (or was that Oscar?), he clowned around more plus he fought on for longer than Floyd did, getting hit more, becoming flat footed, plus he often stayed much closer to opponents than Floyd does.

Maybe also Whitaker fought better opponents?
Maybe Floyd has a better chin?

first of all you gotta chill i know im debating against your man mayweather but your taking it way to personal

second of all other than the de la hoya fight selling the most ppv that was far from memorable, probably hurt boxing more then helped it. Then the hatton fight was an under sized hatton fighting mayweather with a predictable outcome it was a good fight and good win by mayweather but thats all it was... good.

I think of a memorable fight as a fight of the year type fight or even candidate. A fight that really tests the fighter in the ring.
