    Oh really?

So why not fight Williams then if it'd be so easy. Surely that'd be a big statement?

The guy would get ****ed up. Even Ellerbe (I think it was him anyway) said he'd worry about a fight with Williams.

Quimtana got lucky. Then VERY unlucky in the rematch.

You called the great Juan Manuel Marquez a CHUMP and suggested Floyd should take him as a tune up? Wow! How much disrespect do you think he'd get for fighting JMM instead of someone his own size... like Paul Williams?

      I can't believe what I'm reading.

And the poll is 12-0 already! These guys are soooo evenly matched!

      LOL
Marquez has superior offense and more heart. IMO

Nothing would even happen. They'd both be backing off, just staring at each other. The crowd would boo and throw rotten tomatoes, then demand their money back.

What the **** do you think I am, a psychic? Can I read Floyd's mind? I think it's apparent that at this stage in his career he's only going after the biggest pay days. But I wouldn't know because I'm not Floyd Mayweather. It's moot, anyway.

Regardless, what does him having his reasons for not fighting Williams have anything to do with speculation based on styles and past performances?

Marquez has problems with fighters who counterpunch him, like he did with Casamayor, Wheeler, John and Norwood, Mayweather is a better counterpuncher than those guys and is a smarter fighter than them as well. Mayweather by decision.

Actually, if I was Mayweather reading this I would be insulted by just the faintest assertion that JMM would have a chance against him. PBF has skills that JMM could can never posses at any weight class. JMM is a good counter-puncher that has become more aggressive because before the Pac-Man fight no one wanted to watch him. Pretty Boy Floyd vs. JMM = Easy Paycheck for Mayweather.

You know what? Maybe if JMM gets past Juan Diaz (a great fight btw) Mayweather should take this chump as a tune up fight. Then he will be ready for the winner of Hatton-Pac Man. This makes sense since JMM is chasing the hell out of Pac Man, first to light weight, and now he can get knocked out at welterweight, trying to match Pac Man's win against ODLH.
not saying that JMM's gonna win but... JMM was ducked by Hamed, Barrera and the other featherweights. never really had that chance to show his stuff

LOL. **** knows. I have no intention of having a serious, deep discussion about Mayweather though, I can't stand the guy.

                      And, wow.

Did you just say Quintana got lucky?

How is thoroughly outboxing someone for 12 rounds or 48 consecutive minutes considered luck?

                      Seriously?

Luck is what you call Foreman vs Moorer.
