Yes, but when u no longer want to prove yourself against the best, and all you care about is making the money, then i can can no longer support you as a fighter. Im a fan of the sport, and a fan of competitive matchups. Im not here to root for big money fights. Boxers finances are none of my concern.

Bingo. Of course every fighter wants big money fights, but i think it was inopropriate to say it like that on live television. It just seemed a bit classless.

These guys pour their heart and soul into this sport, and you don't care about their finances? You should want to see them well compensated for the entertainment they provide you, especially the ones that are willing to prove themselves against the best.
At least Taylor is saying he'll fight anyone, even if it is for a paycheck. You've got guys out there like Mundine that go running away from anything remotely competitive.

true but boxing is a poor-man sport. most boxers want fights with a big paycheck at the end.
to be fair...it's usally boxers that are in the middle of their professonal's carrers that won't fight unless a payday invole.
but you do have boxers like cotto who were born to box.
