    Why dont any of you give floyd credit

    the man is 39-0, titles in 5 weight classes, wins over prime corrales, castillo,

    wins over oscar, zab, carlos B, mitchell, hatton, and G hernandez

    he started at super featherweight and has boxed up to junior middleweight, often giving away weight

    he beat hatton fair and square, it wasnt the ref (who committed the horrible crime of not letting hatton hold and hit), and it wasnt the ringpost, he dominated him and KO'd him

    it would have been nice to see him fight margarito or cotto, but really the coward accusations arent justified...he is an elite fighter who has done things no e-thug floyd haters have ever done...he aint a coward, and hes not even a real welterweight...

    and he will come back and fight at least once more, i know that

    so why do you guys hate him...cause he talks trash? cause he wins?

    or maybe its because he backs up his talk, he always says hes gonna win, and he always does


    i know why some people on here hate him (****s)

    why others hate him (he schooled hatton and ko'd him, so they pull lame excuses out)

    and i think others just say it to go along with the crowd


    but you all have to admit,floyd has a big impact on his fans, and even his haters.....how can i tell? its been a year since he fought...and this thread will get like a million views....so floyd wins...cos even though you say you hate him you still talk about him

    People give credit where credit is due. He have ATG skilss, but his resume is not a ATG one. He was great at 130 and 135, but from 140 above the only credible wins for him are Hatton and Judah. And Hatton not that much because everybody knows that Hatton cant handle 147. Collazo proved it. His wins over gatti, Mitchell,Baldomir are meaningless because they where the weakest champs on their divisions. This wins are like Roys win over Ruiz. Plus most people hate him because he clearly ducked Margarito first, and then when he clearly ducked Cotto, people got pissed off. If he mans up and fights, Pacquaio, and Cotto/Margarito, people will give him a lot more respect even if he loses against one of them.

        Floyd is unbeated and has faced som pretty decent competition and never once does anybody give him credit.. He could **** up the best boxers out there from now on and 10 years forward and still people would hate him. I don't give a **** i recognize his talent and give him his props because he deserves it.. It's the same problem Jones Jr had 10 years back.. They said he didn't face nobody when he actually DID face a lot of good competition.. He just made'em look like amateurs and people didn't like it.

          people give him credit. i don't think there's anyone that doesn't give him any credit.

          i think his fans overrate him too damn much and when you give floyd credit but not as much as they like then they think you're hating on floyd.

          floyd from 130 to 135 was very good.

          he didn't do anything at 140 though and did very little at 147.

          floyd is a great fighter with a good resume.

          his skills are up there but his resume is not.

            How much credit does he really deserve above 135?


            Manny Pacquiao just shredded any credibility the DLH win had for Mayweather.

                hell......i don't think he beats sugar shane mosley at 135.

                  This statement is very debatable. He does indeed win after saying he will, but he never backs up his tough talk about "this is going to be a toe-to-toe war" and other talk like that. Combine that with his excessive trash-talking, and it's going to turn a lot of people against you.

                  I think he deserves credit for his abilities in the ring though. I think Ch@mpBox@PR said it best:
