Where would Margarito be today had he NOT had a granite chin?

I rewatched the Cotto/Marg fight last night, and damn did Cotto land some hard bombs/combos over and over again on Margs head! As i watched the fight, it thought to myself "damn is this guy lucky he can take a punch". In the end, Marg's constant pressure and ability to take a punch is what won him the fight. Against elusive fighters, Marg will look silly. It was Cotto, who is not particularly known for his speed or elusiveness, and he was able to make Margarito look foolish for the first 6-7 rounds. This is why i say that Floyd has the ability to box circles around Margarito.

He definitely wouldn't be where he is today without his chin, his chin has carried him through a lot of rough moments.

Margarito does have a togh chin and he's very determined. But the one thing that helped him whoop on Cotto was that Cotto can't fight going backwards.

Cotto got frustrated when his punches didn't discouraged Margarito from coming in and Cotto wasn't in a good position fighting backwards.

Margarito vs. Mosely....i hopw Margarito wins. Not cus i'm on his nuts or anything, but i think it's time to bring some new faces into boxing. Plus, Sugar Shane's been fighting since the 90's. i like Mosely.....in his prime.

But playing the devil's advocate, that'd be really really good for Mosely if he won in a dominating fashion. But just think he won't be able to pull it off.

It's amazing people aren't bashing Mosely for steroid use.

He is ALL CHIN and no skill.

People kept insisting even with chin he had skill - "he can cut off the ring and shows good ring generalship"

Like i said replying to them "he wouldnt have any of that without his chin"

and look what happened againest Mosley, his chin is cracked now and he is basically skill-less to readjust to Mosley, got dominated and KOed.

THis is for you and all the haters in here, If you guys have been following boxing Whe all know that theirs no way in hell that you can make it to the level that Margarito is in right now(One of the best in the world) with just a good chin. His skills are underated and I'll say it again he wouldn't of made it this far with just a good chin, their has been plenty of fighters with great chins or great power and dont make it to the elite level, It takes more then that. Stop drinking that haterade and give the man his props, hes a brawler with skills.
