The thing is that Cotto didn t say no mas like your guys did. But Anyways they all are great fighters, and If you feel you are in danger well you do whatever you need to do to protect yourself!!!!!!

Yes he took a beating, I agree with that, but too say he got dominated or he quit is delusional. It was a tough fight and something had to give, no shame in the way it ended, he was simply tired and beaten up from Margarito's relentlessness. Why can't everyone just give credit to both of them for putting on a great display of man vs. man? I don't get all the hating on Cotto for this fight.

The fight was incredible, both fighters had their amazing moments. Cotto landing several flush shots to the head, Margarito landing penetrating uppercuts to the body, back and forth action, blood adding to the drama, terrific crowd reactions...unbelievable finish...it was a great, great fight.

Cotto did well, and it was clear there was NO WAY he was going to win that fight. It wasn't as if he was being outpointed and MILDLY hurt (something like Peter vs. Vitali), where Peter said "Stop it, there's no way I can win." when it was clear he COULD have continued, but he chose not to. Cotto was going to get battered even worse had he continued fighting, Bayless didn't stop the fight, so Evangelista did...and that is very understandable. You can't help but respect both fighters after that fight. It was a competitive, thoroughly entertaining fight...

Comparing Cotto being stopped to the "No Mas" fight is a disrespect to Cotto. The guy gave everything he had in that fight and just ran out of gas, no shame in losing to Margarito.
