Then they keep talking about it so that people will will be more willing to accept that it might be a good idea to have this fight. Then of course the fight is signed and most experts are disgusted because of this circus show event. Then all this promotion like nothing we have ever seen happens.
Even people like manny steward who are always realistic and never hesitates to criticize this type of thing is all into the fight saying that manny has a great chance. Everyone but us was in on this. HBO and oscar set this up as a passing of the torch to pacman so that he could carry boxing foward. De la hoya didn't even try to throw punches or block them. How can mayweather get picked off most of his fight with de la hoya but pac lands every punch he throws???
Then to top it off around round 5 he sits in his stool looking like he's ready to collapse. De la hoya could've atleast tried to make it look like he was trying. There were a few moments were he got too excited and started t fight back and then backed off again to make sure he didn't **** his acting job.
Manny is a great fighter and i respect him so much but it's things like this that make me not want to watch boxing. It's worst than when judges screw fighters. This is the fighters screwing the fans. We all knew that boxing was screwed when de la hoya was gone and thats why HBO and de la hoya decided that this would be the best way to keep the money going in this sport. We've all been had...

you are ***ing idiot mother***er..dont rob pacman of this great win you piece of ****TT!!!!!!!

    you ***ng imbicile....

What's the point of Oscar wanting to fight Hatton next if he threw the fight?

        What an idiot..

        Eat Manny's balls again.

I think Oscar thought this was going to be a pretty easy payday and couldn't handle Manny's speed. He got the **** beat out of him. Fantastic display from Pacquiao.

I don't think it was rigged. I just think you saw a special fighter with incredible skills who has improved a massive amount technically over the past 3 or 4 years send an old and just about shot great fighter into retirement. It has happened before and it will happen again. Every great fighter needs this type of fight to help them understand that it is over. Hopefully Oscar will be able to see it.

Exaclty. Lets accept this for what it is. Manny is an absolutley incredible fighter. Who knows how far he can go now? Could Hatton handle that type of speed? I doubt it. Could Floyd? Manny could become one of the GOAT over the next couple of years.
