Hopkins is probably fuming right now. I hope if Hopkins somehow does get the winner, he takes a warm up fight. I know people go against that kinda thing in a man with his experience and with his age, but he clearly performs 1000 times better when he's not fighting off a 1 year layoff.

maybe he is in it just for the money, who knows
i dont see him being competetive, i dont see him winning more than 3 rounds at the most
seriously if Roy won who would actually want to see a rematch unless it was controversial?
i know i wouldnt

After Joe saying no about all the rematch stuff all along and him now changing it up and almost going public with wanting one is typical Calzaghe, very contradicting of himself. No harm in that because minds do change and circumstances change. Especially in boxing. The issue i have had is that I have been saying this stuff months ago. Joe would lose and demand a rematch to save face before retiring. If I were Roy, I would not even do the rematch just to spite Joe, if I won.
Alot of people read this and get amped up instantly while not realizing that Jones' statement does not mean that the rematch was built into the contract. This could just be word to word or man to man. That being said, I don't think Roy would break his word on a rematch unless something way better came up. (B-hop rematch)
