I just find it funny how people (especially Americans) continue to criticize Calzaghe. He beat Hopkins, just accept it, after a good punch in round 1, the only thing Hopkins wanted to do was hold and pretend to get hit with low blows. And don't make me laugh about his wins over Trinidad and De la Hoya, blown up fighters who needed to eat lots of chips in order to make the weight for those fights.
Having said that, Hopkins is an all time great for his reign at middleweight.
As for Calzaghe's record, there are some bums on it and if you read his book you'll see that it pissed him off having to fight certain guys instead of getting unification fights. However, he demolished Lacy (remember American friends, you thought he was the next big thing, don't be wise after the event), he beat Kessler, who is now the best super-middleweight around, he beat Chris Eubank and he beat your idol Hopkins, like it or not. Face it, he isn't getting beaten, Hopkins has lost five times.
