is Calzaghe a better fighter than B Hop or not

    Calzaghe beat Bhop and Bhop beat Pavlik? How you guys know Pavlik won't beat calzaghe? What im trying to say is, why we using triangle theory again? Style makes fights, obviously Pavlik's style perfect for Bhop, but that doesnt mean Pavlik's style will be also tailor suited for Calzaghe.

      True that

      Hopkins is smarter and more powerful than Calzaghe and has better chin. Calzaghe brittle hands won't hurt Pavlik like Hopkins did.

        Flawless, I thought you were gonna leave if Moby lost?

        So are you telling me that Moby - who was beaten by MOVEMENT - wouldn't lose to a guy with more speed and movement than Hopkins? Okay. And yeah, Calzaghe is known for his glass jaw.

          Speed and movement of Calzaghe equals slaps for **** sake, Hopkins punches were having a effect on Pavlik and was slowing him down. Calzaghe punches will have no effect on Pavlik and he would walk right though them. BatTheMan claims Kessler hurt his right hand against Pavlik if that is true Kessler wasn't 100% and no Calzaghe faced hit as hard as Pavlik.

            I don't reckon Moby hits THAT hard.

            And if you think that you could walk through Calzaghe's "slaps" then.... ayyyyyyyy. Even Malignaggi doesn't have people "walking through" his punches.

                  What purpose did that Video do?? Lacy survived 12 rounds. Calzaghe was in his prime against Lacy but now he has brittle hands

                    stylistically i think joe comes on top - although not by alot

                    acheivment wise hopkins - again just by the smallest of margins

                    whos the better figher - its obviously joe, i can be arsed going into why but if you really think that b-hop+more stamina = a loss for JC, then you really need to scratch below the surface and look at the fight properly.

                      I just like watching it, that's all.

                      And people always talk about Lacy surviving 12 rounds as if that means that Calzaghe has zero punching power.

                      Apart from the fact that the fight should have been stopped as a TKO anyway, the guy was hurt in the first round and kept hurt through most of the fight. He was out on his feet on at least two separate occasions.

                      It's not like he was just given love taps that didn't phase him for 12 rounds.
