Styles make fights. B-Hop had a style advantage against Pavlik. Pavlik isn't overrated, over hyped, done, or any other garbage people are saying about him. He should never have done a fight at 170. He's a middleweight monster, and that's where he should stay. Hopkins actually came across the ring after the fight and said to Pavlik, "...go back to 160, go back to work, and dominate the division like I did... you can be great there."
Even he knows Pavlik had no business at 170. I think even Hopkins was a little shocked by how easy the fight was, judging from his interviews and expressions.
This doesn't mean Pavlik can't still be an all-time great champion; perhaps even better than Hopkins was at Middleweight. Hopkins had 2 losses before he even became a champ, so I don't see why people are taking so much away from the man who jumped up 10 pounds to fight a man obviously more comfortable at the larger weight.
Calzaghe is running his mouth because he's glad he doesn't have to fight Kelly now should he beat Jones.
By the way, Jones in his prime, takes Pavlik, Hopkins, and Calzaghe 100% of the time.
Anyway I agree with everything you said. 100%.

Joe, go **** yourself
Hear me out without having a tantrum. This isn't the school playground, in case y'all forgot.
There are a number of times I've read about Roy's refusal to acknowledge Joe over the years. There was the "Joe who?" quote, but these snippets of information, however clear or unclear they may be, keep cropping up from time to time. I was reading on that other famous boxing site earlier and it was mentioned again that Jones ducked Calzaghe 3 times. I have heard this many times myself since 2002.
I would like to find all the info there is about this, so if anyone knows anything, drop it here for us to discuss.
I mean, if it's true, that sucks. These guys should have fought long ago, and I do believe Joe wanted to because he's talked about it on video's, etc. Frank Warren also said Jones didn't want anything to do with Joe when he talked about Hopkins pricing himself out back in 2002 (in a documentary about JC).
I must give props to Steve Collins at this point, actually. At least he openly admitted he didn't want to fight Joe.
Again, more info is needed on this.
