I see what you're saying, but that's not consistent with what we know about Hopkins before Calzaghe. It's not like cAlzaghe pigeonholed Hopkins into a potshotter. potshotting was Hopkins' prefered style evern since after Tito. Therefore, it wasn't anything Calzaghe was doing, it was Hopkins doing what he was doing.

now that Hopkins is more committed to combination punching, I believe he can beat Calzaghe, and all boxing fans should want to see a rematch.

        Thankyou

Radical. Who'd have thought. Someone won one fight and lost another, because of the style matchups and events in the ring, paritularly from the opponent. What a concept.

That was only because he was Joe's mandatory challenger, and had they not fought, Joe would have been stripped of his title.
I also don't believe joe will give the rematch.... that is unless the money was just too good. we need to hype up the rematch instead of just give up like sissies.

You repeated what I said (that it was a legit but flash KD). Maybe you didn't mean to quote me? If so, I excuse your error.
Sorry mate i was referring to Pullcounter, claiming that Pavlik didn't go down, whilst Joe did, therefore somehow Pavlik > Joe. It's what he was insinuating.

Well yere it has, you posted something ridiculous I challenged it.

You really are clutching at straws mate if all you can say is Pavlik stayed on his feet LOL

If there ever was a time to hold your hands up and say, you was right. This is it.

I ain't Joe's biggest fan but the ****er is good at what he does. Watching Hopkins - Pavlik just illustrates that. Joe wasn't at his best against Hopkins but still won, and Hopkins goes and does that to Pavlik!?! I know styles make fights but ****ing hell!

And yea, Calzaghe is a coward he would never rematch Hopkins. This is why Hopkins is so awesome..he fights anyone at anytime.
I don't want to call calzaghe a coward, but that's what it would look life if he didn't give hopkins the rematch.

Would be interesting, too Risky for Joe though, not worth it at this stage of his career. It was already mighty close, and Hopkins would only improve imo.

                    Joe is a smart mofo.
that's not what happened... joe stopped thinking about the counters and just started throwing punches knowing that his speed is a match for Hopkins and that hopkins would just go into a defensive shell and pretty much not punch back.
