ALRIGHT, so i need to get this off my chest cuz i see 50 posts about this everyday and it's getting annoying.. for those saying that pac's just in it for the money, you all gotta think about it for a second. he's the number one pound for pound fighter today, and a shot delahoya wanted a 70-30 split? if any one of you were on top of the pound for pound list, you all know you'd feel ripped off.. especially from a fighter who's been hardly active for some time now. give the guy a fair split at least, right? well that's what he fought for, and that's what he got. now shut up about that. also, what featherweight do you see is eying some of the elite fighters 2-3 weight classes up? you all can judge the dude, but pacquiao's adding to his legacy by aiming at some big time fighters before he retires, which is very soon. it all makes sense.. he's got delahoya next, who everyone knows is an all time great, and it's been in the talks that he's also eying ricky hatton and mayweather who everyone knows are great fighters. now would you rather finish off your career with the likes of these three fights, or finish off with fighters like cotto, margarito (both who havent yet proved to be near an ATG status), or JMM (who will just keep bitching if he loses again)? the dude's not tryin to make a name for himself and wipe out every division he enters... he already did that working his way up to superfeatherweight, and everyone knows that he's capable of doing so if he really wanted to. the man's finishing off his career fighting HUGE names, and not CURRENT champions or CURRENT top fighters. he's smart for doing what he's doing, and if you're gonna hate, then you truly don't understand what he's trying to accomplish. chances are that most of you haters are either JMM fans or pacquiao haters that just wanna see him lose. plain and basic common sense. try to disagree.
ah, that felt better. haha
