If you watch some of Hattons earlier fights you'll see he has got actual good movement and good boxing talents, its just recently he started adopting the hug and hold tactics. Also Tszyu was very dirty against him, thats why Hatton was dirty also, if you didn;t see this, you're very unbiased towards brits. Also don't discredit hattons win against collazo, as collazo is a very good fighter and much bigger and faster than hatton.

Doees that really matter??? Paulie has fought plenty of hard punchers and held his own.

One thing that negates come forward pressure fighters is good footwork and the ability to get out of the inside and Paulie has that. The only reason Cotto won was not becuase of pressure but GREAT ACCURACY, something Hatton doesn't have........unless Floyd Senior is really the greatest trainer and teaches it to him in one training camp together, which I doubt.

Paulie will box his ears off, Hatton will win 4 rounds tops.

Yes he boxed and moved against slow ass, all muscle Juan Urango. And when he fights someone with actual skills, he resort to holding and hitting, the only thing that's working for him.

And Paulie will be bigger and faster then Hatton.....same difference. Collazo didn't have any punching power but shaked him up in the 12th.

You're not honestly suggesting Paulie is stronger than Hatton? Hatton has good foot work and good accuracy, he'll demolish your little diva star.

I had the same feeling when Hatton hired him. I was like wtf? But I think once Hatton realizes there's no way he's gonna outbox Paulie he'll revert back to what he does best.

Paulie gets beaten up by Hatton. I can't see it any other way. Paulie's in this for the money.

Other than Cotto, Paulie hasn't any kind of puncher at all. Most of his opposition has been crap, and he barely beat the only two guys who could fight at all.

But with the recent comments Hatton has made, - "Hatton: "I Will Outbox Malignaggi, Knock Him Out" - I'm now 100% he will lose. Because of Floyd Senior, he now has a false sense of confidence about what he can do just like Arturo Gatti did before he fought Floyd Mayweather......remember that??

Because of Buddy McGirt, Gatti actually thought he could go in there and box with Floyd using his jab and movement. McGirt convinced him and gave him a false sense of security that he could do it, until reality kicked in the fight. Had Gatti actually been agressive and went after Floyd head first, he might've not lost as bad as he did.

Like McGirt, it's all on Floyd Senior now. Will he try to change Ricky too much? Does he expect too much out of him? Lets face it, he only has trained guys who already had alot of natural boxing and athletic ability like Guzman, Dawson and Delahoya. But also WTF was Hatton thinking hiring him as a trainer???? Does he think he will teach him the shoulder roll so he won't get knocked out by wide counter hooks like he did?

                    Dumb decision by Ricky Hatton.
