I think it is Steve Bunce causing all this ruckus. He gets Joe fired all up by mentioning Pavlik. Joe flies off the handle and dreams up smoke and mirrors, saying stuff like Pavlik never wanted to fight him etc etc.

Pavlik, normally one for letting his management handle putting the fights together, is then forced to go public to dispute those foolish claims.

All of this is making me feel that Joe is very defensive over the decisions he has made. His charactor is now being called into question. His master plan is not looking so brilliant any longer. Fans in Great Britian are now wondering what is up with him.
