It simple. If cotto circles Margarito and stay in the pocket long enough to hit him in the body he will win with out a doubt. In the first third of the fight(rounds 1-4) Cotto Should stay circling Margarito, going in and out, staying long enough to get leverege in his punches and hit to the body(something he didnt do the 1rst fight). In the middle third(Ronuds 5-9) Cotto has to press the action make margarito go backwards. Margarito is not a good counter puncher, he is a lead puncher, he is not very good going backwards(hard to do tho) and in the last third (rounds 10-12) If the fight gets there. cotto should get on his bike and win the last 3 round with ease. I say this not because I'm a Cotto ffan or what ever. I say this base on the first fight. Cotto won the 1rst 6rds with fairly ease. The thing was he was sucking a lot of blood from his nose and mouth, and the people who has been in a ring knows that you can't breath and your stomach hurts like a mother Fu%$^%&$! When you swallow that much blood. If cotto make this adjusment or at least have of them, he will win, but if he do the same thing as the 1rst fight hewill loose do to accumulation of punishment. In the rematch I have my money on Cotto stoping Margarito in the 10th round Via left hook to the body!

None of this **** matters. Cottos chin is weak, not glass but weak, he has been rattled by guys smaller then Margarito. He cant stop Margarito and there is no way he can take those shots for 12 rounds. This was ovbious before their first fight and it is even more obvious after. By the way this has nothing to do with Margairto being god, just that Cotto does not have the tools to beat him.

Cotto asking for a rematch is like when Taylor asked for a remach with Chavez...Thats the kind of beat down Cotto took...ANd we all know what was the outcome on that.

Margarito will stop Cotto even earlier this time around. If Cotto was smart he would protect his career and health by fighting someone easier perhaps for a belt. If he really feels like taking another beating then they can do it again later down the road.

Miguel Cotto Welcomes a Margarito Rematch Next June

Former two-division champion Miguel Cotto is looking forward to a potential rematch with Antonio Margarito. Bob Arum of Top Rank, who promotes both fighters, recently told Primera Hora that he plans to put together a televised doubleheader featuring Margarito and Cotto in early 2009. Arum says the fights will take place on the same day, but in different cities. Margarito would headline an event in Los Angeles and Cotto would be in the top spot of a card in Puerto Rico. If both fighters win, Arum would like to make a rematch in June, with the fight landing in New York, Las Vegas or Los Angeles. [details]
