Ahaha, I wouldn't be sure about that, man. I mean, I think I know when he's being sarcastic and satirising ****, but I think his in-depth take on why Joe decisions Hagler was serious

Hagler also tended to tire in the later rounds and although he would fight up until the final bell, he would be a lot slower and clumsier in the second half of the fight. Calzaghe would eat this up.

Hagler's best route to victory is to come out and go after Calzaghe like he did with Tommy Hearns. Calzaghe has never been in with something like that. Calzaghe has a better chin than Hearns though, so I think I'd expect him to survive. Calzaghe Decision.

NB: Now before getting mad about this, just think about it. A boxer who is usually faster than his opponents, throws more punches and is very hard to stop is a very hard boxer to beat.

My apologies to you, I hadn't seen that post. I have watched a great deal of Marvin Hagler and I would give Joe very little chance of beating him if any whatsoever. I guess I will just have to agree to disagree with abadger on that one.

I see Toney taking this with ease, but an off-night Toney would have the possibility of dropping a decision to Joe.

                Up we go.

I seriously cannot wait to hear how Calzaghe would school Toney.

                Bring it.

James Toney by K.O. You must remember Toney's chin is granite and can take a Heavyweight punch. Joe went down in the first from a str8 right from Hopkins and was wobbled by a counter right. Toney would either bust him up with superior boxing or K.O him with a Counter.Even Roy had a tough time with a weight drained Toney.

James Toney vs. Vassily Jirov. Jirov was an undefeated southpaw who had a very high workrate (set Compubox records), hit to the body very hard(had multiple single shot body KOs), and had multiple successful title defences of his Cruiserweight Title.

Jirov even punches similiar to Calzaghe....
