Oscar De La Hoya vs. Paul Williams Being Considered?

In what many are calling a direct slap in the face to WBA welterweight champion Antonio Margarito, the latest fighter in the running to land Oscar De La Hoya on December 6 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas - is none other than WBO welterweight champion Paul Williams. [details]

For all you fools saying Oscar was scared of Margarito his homeboy erick gomez said paul williams is a strong possibility now and the pacquiao fight was scrapped.

So its basically down to mora and paul williams.

It'll probably still be Pacquiao though.

It was just a coincidence, I just finished reading the article when I saw the thread and then KJB asked for the source so I knew where it was.

                  I'm not a mod.

Seriously how does he go from Pac a mega showdown and PPV event to 2 guys with no public appeal? This is just a tactic like Lacey retiring to get a better deal from Taylor.

If anything Mora has more celebrity and value from the contender and beating Forrest but still its not the type of fight that he would want as his final farewell.
