Why didn't Cotto punch Margarito's elbows and arms like he claimed he would do to PBF? According to some I thought sometimes its all about just hitting something since he such a power puncher. Would that have paid dividends later on in the fight? Never know because he didn't do the ****. The **** is funny because Cotto said PBF closes his mind when he is pressured. Damn what does he think he did when he was pressured.
Much respect to both fighters though it was a hell of a fight.Last edited by El Dominicano; 08-15-2008, 11:32 AM.

I would rather watch Floyd's "most boring" fight than watch Gatti-Ward. To me, Gatti-Ward wasn't great or special. You get those type of fights every wednesday at the VFW Hall in Skokie, Illinois. Those Gatti fights just happened to be on HBO.
And I see why mu****as get a kick seeing it. It's fun to watch.
But it's dumb that those fights have been hyped up like true epics of the ages.
Corrales-Castillo are examples of wars that were worthy of the acclaim that followed.
Gatti-Ward not as much.
Great TV. Just not great boxing.
