Another thing we're not considering here is the significant size advantage for Kessler.

Kessler comes in at 183 guys, Pavlik only walks around at 178. Kessler has a much, much bigger frame than Pavlik.

I'm not sure the size really matters here because Kessler has frame packed with Muscle, Pavlik doesn't look like he has packed alot of muscle onto that frame of his.

Kesslers Power not even close to Kellys overall power , Kessler went the distance with a blown up lightweight I could never see Kelly doing that , I dont think Kessler is anywhere near Kelly in power he has a right hand where Kelly hits hard with everything .

Footwork is one of Kesslers biggest flaws , his feet are too wide apart which means he has to be set to punch he cannot change direction quickly with your feet that far apart and he cant move backwards without getting all tanglefoot when they come at him hard , if you offset him he is always trying to get set , this is what Joe did just offset him , inside punching range Pavlik is faster in changing position and punchers harder and more frequently from different positions , like I said Kessler must be set to punch at a certain distance his power is at full extention where Kelly can punch faster more accurate and harder short and middle range and can match him at long range .

My take is Kessler will not handle Kellys 12round power and his aggressive pressure .

We shouldnt forget that Kelly is also a middleweight .

I voted Kessler but would lean toward Pavlik to win should they fight, if that makes sense.

I think Kessler is the more physically gifted and talented guy, but Pavlik's demeanor and determination have helped him prevail over more talented guys before, and I don't see Kessler as having the mentality it would take to beat Pav. He doesn't react well to getting hit, and judging by the fights he's taking since Calzaghe, he's not very interested in challenging himself, which shows weakness IMO.

My opinion could change if Kessler were to step it up, but for now that's the way I see it.

Pavlik's better than he gets credit for, but Kessler has a lil more variety to his game imo.
