Paul Williams Disses De La Hoya, Calls out Margarito

These Margarito fans make me laugh.

They know all the guy has is a chin and nothing else to offer.

When he fights a guy bigger than him hes shut down and his reign will over, short reign for a shortskilled fighter.

What Margarito needs to get in his head is that DLH is pretty much done and wont go for any real risky fight, years back DLH wouldve ate a margarito up but now hes old and tired.

Paul Williams wants a fight and is 1-0 on Margarito. He should take the fightbecause thats probably the biggest money he will recieve unless he goes up in weight.

I always thought the reason why he fought williams was because all of the smack he was talking about how he schooled Marg in sparring and that he would beat him easily. Also the fact that no one would fight williams and being Marg is Mucho Machezmo stepped up when no one else would. It makes more sense at the time to fight Cotto (bigger name, belt) Im not sure bout the money though but i would think he would have gotten more for fighting cotto since he was a pretty big name, bigger then willams anyway.

Cotto would have gotten the lion's share of the purse in a Margarito fight. With Williams, Margarito would get the lion's share. Even though the Cotto fight is a bigger fight, if Marg is the main draw in another fight he would get paid more. Plus Goosen hooked it up by winning the purse bid with a high figure.

You dont think that might have a little big to do with it? On top of that he dehydrated and rehydrated too much before and after weigh in. He should not be weighing 161 for any welter fight. He weighed in at 152 for the rematch and sparred with Collazo and looked what happened? You got to at least give Paul a break on that one since he avenged his loss unlike Margarito. If Paul gets outboxed again, by all means call him whatever you want.

Why is Margs not rematching the man who beat him? He is looking for a pay day,but he isn't a big draw. He is not a fighter everyone wants to see yet. He has to keep beating guys. Tarver thought one fight would give him big money. Look at him now. The big ppv shows he was looking for after beating Jones never happened.

it was actually Margarito who gave williams his shot the first time around. Margarito could have easily vacated his title to fight Cotto, but instead gave williams his shot which williams won. Now its time for williams to make stuff happen for himself which he said he'll do by not waiting around. Marg will have to fight him in due time to unify the divishion williams just needs to wait like Marg did for so many years.

Tony wanted to go into the Cotto fight with HIS belt. He didn't GIVE Williams anything except a few lumps. If Tony doesn't want to give him a fight then I agree move on.
