I think getting 5 titles in 5 different weight classes is great but reigning your division for 10 years is great too so that's just personal preferance.
Floyd's opposition is questionable and he ducked the best fighters. Calzaghe fought the better competition and didn't duck anyone.
Floyd's skills are pretty damn good, better than Calzaghe's but they are 2 completely different styles, they are both great at what they do.

Honestly I've never been fond of fighters jumping from weight class to weight class. I have a higher regard for Marvin Hagler spending his entire career at Middleweight and owning the division than Tommy Hearns collecting belts in weight class after weight class. A champion should be the MAN, not a rent-a-champ for a few months.

It also depends on the circumstances under which they do it. I'm not really a fan of it when they just go jumping from class to class beating second rate champs. When they beat the man there I am cool with it.

For the final time. Calzaghe is a nobody compared to Mayweather. Mayweather has beaten more quality oppenents and recognizable names. Held more titles in more divisions. Is faster, damn near impossible to hit, and is a defensive genius. And he did it all in less than half the time it took Joe.
