Boxing in the old days as you called it was considered a gentleman's sport. It was never the same as fighting. What kind of fighting do you see on the streets with gloves and referees. My comment was meant to imply that there are boxers and there are fighters that box. Floyd,Sweet Pea,Ali,Leonard and Klitschko are more like boxers. Hagler,Cotto,Margarito,Aaron Pryor are more like fighters that box. Nothing is wrong with either style. As for your comment about boxing being scripted, once the bell rings there is nothing scripted about what happens in the ring. It's not like wrestling(professional) where you know the outcome and there is a plot. Obviously this thread is above your menial level of intellect. You fail to see the difference and you're completely unable to articulate your opinion. -

If cotto got beat by margarito on saturday night that would give floyd the perfect reason to come back and avoid fighting him. I think floyd would beat margarito pretty comfortably with his usual 'hit and run' style. He wouldn't be able to do the same with cotto. I'm sure floyd will be rooting for a margarito win on saturday night. Respect to cotto though I have never heard him 'call out' mayweather or ever even dierespect him. The guy is pure class!Comment

He is going to be for Cotto, no doubt in my mind. I said before even if Marga should win this one it doesn't mean **** for him. If you beat some1 who positioned himself on top because of the opponnents he fought gets beat by a contender it doesn't mean that he gets his spot. Look back in history there are a lot of ''upsets'' bo no1 of these dudes became stars... they beat the best but it doesn't mean they get their spotlight. Yeah 4 sure... so the whole pot in DLH-Pac is 30 Million. So a fight with Margarito, not on PPV against Floyd who not fought DLH at that time should have made 8 million alone for Floyd???
