I know it's just business to get May to fight Cotto but still there are too many believers out there.
Floyd retired because of Cotto? Was he in line to fight Cotto??? As I remember right, he was about to fight DLH for big $$$. So what has his retirement to do with Cotto? It's just common sense folks. If he beat DLH and then retired it would have had some common sense probably but so... it's just plain ******. But hey, we're talking about a promoter here right? Who needs sense. And this is exactly what brings so many boxers in the wrong context history wise, because of ppl (many times promoter) who doesn't like a certain boxer and have to much power to get their version heard.

It probably really also means... that we're going to see DLH against Pac... cuz if Arum would have wanted to push the Cotto card, why is he again calling out May. it's right that cotto hasn't called out mayweather because he still got margarito in front of him. if he wins saturday night i am sure he will say something to mayweather. but until then it is the smartest way to shut up for now.Comment

The best? First of all, I think like stated before... as a boxer you walk a boxing tree... you start as contender. As contender you have to fight everybody. Most boxers stay contenders all their life. Others get to an certain level. And when your at top you call the shots. It always was and it always has been. Cotto still has to fight everybody. He still don't has that level. But he can get there, Cotto has the skill in every category to hang in there with every1. Margarito will never be there, even if he beats Cotto... Margarito will always loose against a moving boxer with solid chin. Margarito simply has not the skill. He's a tough man, throws a lot of punches... but he's simply average. That's the reason why ppl laugh him off... May fought enough man who were taller, who were ''tougher'' and who throw a lot of punches. But against him they could never show there toughness and also couldn't throw a lot of punches. Margarito against May... is like the Corrales fight. It's the same thing. Margarito simply has not enough foot speed to come near enough to May. So when ppl talking about ducking the best and they bring up Margarito it's simply joke... because Margarito will never be the best or one of the best. He's ugly to fight and an contender but that's all... average.
All the other fighters that he didn't fight are easy to explain... only because ppl call him out it doesn't mean that he has to take the fight. Of course everybody wants to fight the kingpin and when he is in your division, for sure... everybody wants to fight DLH. It's about fame and your name on top of the game. He wanted to fight Cotto in 2005 as both were at 140. After the Gatti fight... but Arum didn't wanted that, and wanted a few more years for Cotto. So now Cotto has to wait. If you make somebody wait on the way to the top it can happen, that he's doing the same to you. If Cotto should win and win and get the DLH fight... and May should come back who else should he fight (maybe Pac).
Floyd has mad skills. You see that when you see his fights. The ppl that call his opponents ''bums''. They misunderstand something wrong. He doesn't fight bums, he make them look like that. But it happened to a lot of greats...Comment
