Its funny how you have no understanding of the sport of boxing as a sport based on popularity and revenue.
Who in the UNited States knows of Mikkel Kessler?
Who in the United States knows of Bernard Hopkins?

Plus, Hop just lost a controversial SD vs Joe in a fight where Calzaghe was knocked down.
A convincing win over Hop puts pressure on Joe to fight Pavlik.

Even if Bernard pulls out a victory, no way he finishes Kelly.

Thats a good point there mate but you are talking about the money side of it...unfortunatley thats what seems to be counting at the moment and its doing fans out of greater potential match ups.
Im sure your mouth would water over a match between Pav and Kess rather than a 43 year old Hopkins that wont fight back??
Kessler will be known in the US soon mate dont worry about that...he just has a stubborn old money hungry **** for a promoter and its ruining him...he has been forced to fight another chump mandatorie soon and he cant get out of it...unlike the big American names...

Mate I would love to agree with you but I will say Kessler had his moments and put up a brave fight but was never in control of it at all...JC especially came good in the later rounds like he usually does...Kessler didint choke at all but he kept his head above water with out holding, headbutting and blocking like old mary popkins...he tried to fight and he learnt from it.

I suppose my bro is right when he calls me a hopeless Hopkins fan because I don't find Enzo's comments to be all that absurd (sour g****s or not). Bernard is certainly going to be the craftiest fighter Pavlik has faced, and he's still got plenty of pop on the handful of punches he lands. Contrary to what a lot of folks seem to believe, Pavlik is nowhere close to being a complete fighter, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Hopkins land some good shots and perhaps drop him. I can't see Bernard working steady enough to get the decision, but it's certainly within the realm of possibility that he could win by KO.
