Calzaghe barely squeaked that decision and turned down a Pavlik fight to fight Jones.

Like Enzo is gonna say "Pavlik will Ko him in one round." That would make Joe look like ****...

calzaghe is probably my favorite fighter right now but i have to admit i think he would have a big problem with pavlik. between kessler and pavlik, i would give the power edge to pavlik by a fairly decent margin. accompanying that power is a high punch output, something kessler doesn't match. because of that, i think that calzaghe would not be able to take too many shots from pavlik. enzo definitely is a bit worried about pavlik.

between pavlik and hopkins, im going to go with hopkins only because he does exceptionally well against fighters that throw a lot of punches. pavlik won't get KO'd but he has a difficult task at hand in hopkins.

all that being said, i hope kelly wins cuz hopkins doesn't have a future in boxing and the sport of boxing needs a dominant champion, which pavlik could very well be if he gets past hopkins.

Bhop is no sure win, and will push kelly more than anyone thus far! no question. bhop is never in a fight he can not win, and i don't see this as being any different. I certainly dont mate!!! I want to see Hopkins get brutaly KTFO and retired!!
But they cant take us boxing fans for fools and they know Mary Popkins may give Pavlik a tough time possibley even pull of the upset...gee could it be he is being paid to take a fall to hype up a possible match with Calzaghe??
Who knows huh??!! I wont buy this fight as I dont want to be dissapointed again like Popkins vs Calzaghe but im gunna be gutted if I miss that big mouthd prick getting KOed!!
As for Enzo he is living the dream with his son...im sure all of us would like our sons or future sons to be as succesful as Joe in the game...it entitles him to a little arrogance I guess...either that or hes just talking things up for the sake of it??!!

Enzo needs to shut his trap and get his boy in the ring with Pavlik so Pavlik can whoop on his ass. RJJ and B-Hop are well passed their primes and with the slight win that Calzaghe had over B-Hop, I think Pavlik would prevail over Joe.
