"Cotto, Easier For Oscar Than Pacquiao," Says Gomez

When I saw the recent comments made by Eric Gomez, vice-president and matchmaker of Golden Boy Promotions, I knew right away that Oscar De La Hoya is making a serious play to fight Manny Pacquiao on December 6 in Las Vegas. [details]

Oscar would indeed have a better chance at beating Cotto than Pacquiao would, but I don't think Oscar will beat Cotto if they ever fight.

This is Oscar's farewell fight... Whoever fights Oscar this December will get the mainstream he needs which I think Cotto needs right now because this PPV will be huge but getting knock the **** out in your farewell fight is something to think about.. Pac will still beat him by close UD though IMO.

i think you misunderstood m8, Gomez is basically saying Cotto would be a easier fight for DLH. Which is BS.

Another good quote from the premium box promotion who shows you, that you doesn't need boxing knowledge to make money ******* as *****

But DLH is smart though. If Floyd would tell you, Cotto is an easier fight for him than Pac... you would call him ***** and and and. DLH doesn't say that, he let his henchmans say it. So you ppl start to believing it, because DLH is so nice a good guy... he's allowed to fight a mismatch @ PPV for his farewell and beat up a man who is now not even in the weight class where DLH started... a ****ing joke... but hey it's DLH, not Floyd... DLH is a warrior a man of merrit *loooooooooooooooooool* DLH is a greedy man... can't believe that he still goes after the money that bad... I mean he has enough... and he's some1 who really has to do to for his legacy... until now he never won a big1... but who cares... the ppl love him, he fought the best... let him beat up a flyweight... but hey, he has the power, the man who has the power, can rewrite history how he desires... so after he beat Pac a few years down the road... you will probably think that DLH was the underdog and beat Manny against all odds... because Manny was that good... you will see

                Oscar won't take this fight.

If he does, he'll probably die of embarrassment, having to fight a tiny guy.

Good Job from Mark letting Oscar know that this little stunt hes trying to pull is not flying with us fans. We see right through him and his friend Gomez. I like the little jab he threw at Oscar saying Ivan Calderon is available if anything.lol
