If you can get both, thats great. But most people are looking for flat out excitement when they plop down their hard earned $55 dollars. Jmo.

It is true that most of the fans want blood and guts. It is your job as a fighter to make sure it is not your blood and guts that is being spilled.

A win is a win. But if you win boring, no matter how good you are the fans won't want to pay to watch you. See Winky Wright. If you're the best but not exciting, and dont fight the top comp, the fans aren't going to love you. See Floyd. Exciting fighters, especially ones who win, are followed, loved and make money.

After all that beating I guess how much does Gatti, Taylor...etc?

It true Floyd is a jerk but I think his career is pretty good winning 5 title in 5 different division and still staying undefeated. Even though some people criticize his opponent in recent years but guess what he is getting paid alot more than many other fighters and could have a longer career because he doesnt have that much damage in terms of hydrating his body or getting beaten up.

After couple of year if Margarito retires nobody would know him at all. maybe people will mention him but he will be virtually unknown maybe if he beats Cotto people might know him

Of course. And at the same time yet again, spilling your opponents blood and guts is what we pay for and want to see. If we didn't, we'd all be watching college wrestling.
