Man you guys take everything out of context when it comes to your favorite fighter. Do you honestly think a savvy fighter like Tony, who's been on this business since he was a young pup (15) and having to go through hell to be at this stage of his career think he's just going to underestimate the biggest opponent and biggest fight of his career?? lol you guys are delusional.

Im sure that Margarito will bring his A game, just like he did against Clottey and Williams..... wait a second

I predict a KO by Tony in the 8-9th round, he's just too strong.

If Margarito really means this along with what he said in another interview regarding that Cotto isn't his toughest opponent then I really do think Margarito is underestimating Cotto since Cotto is Margarito's thoughest opponent, I mean who is Margarito's biggest win, Cintron or Clottley? None of those are thougher than Cotto. If he really is underestimating Cotto he will be in for a long night because I know for a fact that Cotto is training exceptionally hard and is going in there to fight his heart out for the win because he isn't underestimating Margarito and he does recognize that Margarito will be his biggest fight and toughest opponent. Another thing you can infer from this interview is something we already knew which is that he plans to fire up early in the fight, which means Cotto will be boxing in the early rounds before starting his vicious assault, something I expect. To see my opinion on how the fight will go, have a look at this thread:

From what I have seen of Margarito and what he has stated in interviews he used to fire up late in the fight but he has stated that since the Paul Williams fight he is looking to firing up fast, so I expect Margarito to keep his word and starting up fast, which means Cotto which usually fires up late to box in the early rounds entering and punching his way through Margarito's body each time he opens up. Then in the middle rounds it will be when Cotto starts to fire up and punch more while still boxing. In the 7th round I expect Cotto to start his vicious assault to the body, in the 9th round I see Cotto breaking Margarito down and him being knocked down and in the 10th Cotto will continue his assault until Margarito breaks down completely and is knocked down after he rises up I see Cotto continuing the assault until the referee stops the fight.
