Paul would outbox Pavlik all ****in night. Pavlik is great, but he does nothing extraordinary in their. It's come forward, 1-2, come forward, 1-2. That's it. Paul can outwork him. He can outjab him. He can land better combinations. He can and would beat Kelly Pavlik.

Are you sure you are in the right forum? No ones talking about .22Cal.

Yea he would beat Pavlik. He would beat Pavlik's gloves with his forehead until he fell unconcious. Get real man. You should be ashamed of yourself to call Kelly Pavlik one-dimentional. Was Taylor one-dimentional? How about B-hop before him? What about Oscar DeLahoya? What about Trinidad? See where I am going with this? Good. I hope you get my point.

I dont think pavlik is one dimensional but what he does it basic but effective, He sets you up with the left jab twice before he throws the right hand. Most of his opponent knows this but getting away from that is the major problem for his opponents.

Yea, it is a problem because Pavlik starts a combination with the basic Jab-Straight right hand. Then he turns it into an uppercut, left hook, another straight right and for good measure, he throws in another one-two. By that time, the opponent is dazed or at least going defensive. Some throw back, only to get hit while doing so, or they just move and cover up some more. The way he fights and sets up punches "looks" very basic, but he is far from one-dimentional. Just ask Manny Steward for a testimony. He thought that before the first Taylor fight too. *Enzo Calzaghe thought that before the Lockett fight as well. I bet he has changed his opinion now. I hav'nt heard a peep out of him since. Thanks for backing me up, by the way. Green K all the way.

*Joe Calzaghe is a tremendous fighter and I think he is the only one who has the mettle to give Pavlik any problems around 160-168. Light heavy is a different story alltogether.

Williams gets annihilated in 6-7 rounds. No contest.

Look.. I think it would be a very interesting fight... but to say that Paul WIlliams could out jab Pavlik is just wrong.

Williams wouldn't beat Pavlik by out jabbin him. pavlik's jab is too strong and good for williams to beat him with his lazy jab. Williams could beat him by simply being mobile and firing shots while moving. As soon as pavlik runs into somebody who will hit him and circle, he loses! he doesn't have the best footwork or mobility. He has to set his feet to throw his famous 1-2. But with that said when he hits u it seems to stun his opponents which cuts off their mobility. every time Taylor moved and used his speed he was winning easily, he just didn't have the endurane or stamina to sustain it.
