      Go away.

Ok, Abraham in a wonderfull performance seemingly has captivated the American public and now has a real shot at upsetting the blue collared pride of Youngstown in Kelly "The Ghost" Pavlik. Now all we have to do is tell AA is that he has never been in against a person like Kelly who will hold the edge in EVERY catagory minus defense and highly disputed power catagories.

Manny Stewart: "I don't know Jim, I thought it would of been a better fight, I guess he thought he was fighting another Edison Miranda."

Jim Lampely: "Yeah Manny, we here know and alot of the people who have followed Kelly Pavlik know, until you face him, you doubt him. And AA is just another notch on where the doubters are put once they enter the ring with him."

Max Kellerman: "I sure hope AA is ok, MAN did he go down hard!"

Two talented fighters. One throws Straight Quick accurate shots, the other is looping and slower.

Bet on the straight puncher every time.

I admit that Pavlik doesn't look special at a glance, but pay attention to what he does he comes at you but keeps his distance, when the distance closes he has one of the nastiest uppercuts in the business, his left hook isn't to shabby either. It would be no easy task beating a bigger most likely stronger fighter, who has knocked out the king pin of the division. Basically I am saying Pavlik isn't the chump your making him out to be.
I am not knocking the guy, he is one of my favourite fighters at the moment, but he get's outclassed by Abraham.

I accept that Pavlik is no chump, but do you accept he is no SRR?

From the looks of it, I guess not.

Theres alot more to boxing then power, and im not saying Abraham is one dimensional but to say that Abraham is going to KO KELLY PAVLIK based on this performance tonight doesnt do it for me.
But anyone who knows boxing knows that Kelly IS one dimensional.

He moves forward at a set pace, and throws straight punches in 1-2's. If that goes wrong for him, he is unable (or unwilling) to try anything else.

By the way, I am not basing my prediction on tonights performance, I'm basing it on all the other fights where I have seen Abraham dismantle one dimensional punchers, and fights where I have seen him take a hell of a lot of punishment.

Would Pavlik have the heart to fight 8 rounds with one of the P4P hardest punchers with a broken jaw?

I know it is only speculation at this point, but I doubt it, not many fighters have that kind of heart.

Abraham has a good tight defense and a lot of power. Factor into the equation he has a lot more skills than Pavlik, and you have a man with the power to KO anybody and the ability to land these shots on a man who is only ever going to walk straight onto them.

Abraham could stop Kelly in any round, but I don't think Kelly has the ability to stop Abraham, the guy just has too much heart.

With Abraham's defense and seemingly pretty good chin, I dont' know if Pavlik would KO him. I think he would beat him because he would be able to take Abraham's shot's pretty well and plus he would win a decision basically because he would just outwork Abraham by a ton. Who know's though because right now it seems like it's going to be a good fight.

Pavlik knocks Abraham out. I see a few flaws in Abraham that Kelly Pavlik will easily capitalize on and expose, an example being Abraham's wild shots and his tendency to drop his hands. Pavlik is very patient and smart and will undoubtedly take advantage of those mistakes.

I'm going for Kelly, I've been a big fan of his when I saw him fight Miranda. I believe he will make any necessary adjustments against AA's defence.

What I see is a fight where a man who has a solid defense(doesn't protect his body very well) and a punchers chance. Round is completely right. You have a boxer puncher vs a puncher. AA doesn't throw punches unless the other fighter slows down after the combinations, I was watching a lot of his high lights, he stays in a defensive shell. Well when you see him open up it isn't until he is a given an opportunity. Well Pavlik is always working a narley jab and those wide punches aren't gonna land on a fighter who beats you to the punch in fact that is going to be a huge disadvantage for AA, he will have to change his style a bit to beat pavlik, he needs to develop a straighter punching style.
