As far as Tony acting ****y, naw, he's always been like that, he is a very confident fighter and that's his mentality. I can't wait for this fight man.
Agreed - Definitely not a ****y response - he's confident in his abilities - both of these guys are class acts and just want to do their thing in the ring.

If he's smart he'll come into every round with a different game plan. Cotto learns patterns easily. You can NOT approach Cotto moving the same way over and over. He can beat you to the punch and as we know all of Cotto's punches hurt. Even the ones that don't land.
Great point. I do think that Margarito's punch volume may be a problem for Cotto but the fact that he will be trhowing that many punches leaves him vulnerable to Cotto's accuracy and he will quickly realize that Cotto's punches hurt.

If Margarito thinks that this will not be his most difficult fight, I think that he is in for a suprise. Cotto has to potential to punish Margarito harder and more frequent than he has ever experienced. Margarito has never faced a fighter with the technical skills, punching power, versatility, and ring generalship that Cotto posseses.

Cotto is going to find it very difficult to hit margs. He covers up very well. Cott is going to stick and move, and clicnh when margs gets close. I expect margs to wear cotto out, and finish him late in the fight.

Margs is going to run cotto over like a truck, and leave him dead in the street. I like the mentality. He says cotto isn't going to be his toughest fight. lol. Maybe he is saying williams was tougher lol. If cotto had a big right hand, i'd pick cotto, but what he has done against every last one of his opponents in the past is over power them...won't work in this fight. Margs as i said covers up very well, and if his plan is to come at cotto from the start, cotto will have some success early, but i expect him to be stopped late in the fight. Margs just throws too many punches and is confident in his chin.

You nailed it 110%. but its hard making these people see the light sometimes. I'm giving you rep for that statement.

margarito's gameplan is to be tougher than cotto, but I don't think that's enough to beat cotto.

Where do you get the idea that Cotto will find it difficult to hit Margarito?

I was wathcing several of Cotto's fights recently and he has some of the most incredibly orchestrated combinations that I have seen in a while. 4-5-6 punch combinations.

Margarito throws so many punches that all it does is leave him open to get hit. Margarito has never faced a fighter with the ring generalship that Cotto posseses. Cotto can fight forward, backwards, southpaw etc... Margarito just like Cotto is in for the most difficult and punishing fight of his life.

Pull, even if margs isn't the greatest of ring technitions, he has a game plan. There is a method to his madness. You go one way, i go the other. lol Both fighters know that the other is going to fight smart. Cotto's speed and jab are going to be the key to this fight. I think it will be a shot gun jab from the smaller guy. Margs is going to be told to use his length, and use his jab also. He says he will come out fast, and that he has to do this based off of his loss to williams. This puts cotto at both ends of the spectrum. Either he will shine or he will be worn out. I'm picking margs to wear down cotto. You post good objective responses, and it makes me feel guilty of hating on the cotto fanatics lol.
