I'm saying he won't have a chance it's just highly unlikely that he will win the fight. Pavlik is superior in pretty much everything compared to Calzaghe, except for speed & maybe ring experience. I just don't see Calzaghe winning the fight,and he probably won't fight Pavlik anyways.

Pavlik destroys Lacy inside 6 rounds , Pavlik is a very hurtful puncher with skills and he hunts you , Hopkins lost but in loosing he showed plenty of the average thats in the current Calzaghe ,, Pavliks very dangerous and what you hear dont matter when you got eyes , I dont think Joe will fight Pavlik , not with the easier Jones along with his ATG reputation just like fighting Hopkins , its the old mans retirement club that I cant see inviting Pavlik to spoil it for them .

After watching kelly's impressive performance i ironically feel that Joe may have a better chance than i thought. Joe has good speed and really good foot movement... that may give kelly problems. BUT IF JOE STAYS in front of kelly and exchanges it's going to be curtains for joe. If he boxes, uses his speed and his foot movement we might have a different outcome.

NEWSFLAsH: Gary lost to Pavlik because he was outclassed, Joe is more than a few steps above Lockett on the "class ladder" and would not be an easy win for Pavlik, not at all.

All enzo has seen is Pavlik's power, which is nothing new.

Joe could easily take Pavlik's best punch on the chin and still throw back, has Pavlik proved he could do the same? Not yet he hasn't.

Yeah impressive win for Pavlik, Lockett had no chance. I think the only thing that Calzaghe could have against Pavlik is speed, and I am pretty sure pavlik could neutralize that.

well, calzaghe has speed and awkwardness. I think calzaghe can beat pavlik, but what if pavlik lands that short right hand that hopkins landed??? I don't know if calzaghe will be able to recover especially considering that pavlik is a great finisher.

Trouble is everybody knows Jones is a shadow of his former self , beating a way passed welter in Tito dont make him prime again , Jones is a much easier fight than Pavlik , if Kelly was fighting Jones at 168 I would back Kelly to KO him , I think Joe will not fight Pavlik and take the easy road .

I really don't see Joe getting in the ring with Kelly, but I think a fight with RJJ is highly feasible. Not even sure Cal could be RJJ at this point. But, I'm very confident Kelly would beat Joe. I've seen nothing from Joe that tells me he could avoid Kelly's powershots for 12 rounds. Nothing.

Kelly just keeps improving in my eyes, much like Cotto.
